Prairie

Inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement of the early 1900s, Sternberg created the versatile Prairie family of luminaires.

Rooted in the pre-modern period prior to 1930, the style stood for traditional craftsmanship with simple, elegant forms.

It is undeniable that the Prairie family was strongly influenced by Frank Lloyd Wright's architecture, patterned after the low sloping roof lines and subtle decorative elements.
