Sternberg was approached by the City of Los Angeles Bureau of Street Lighting to participate in a pilot supporting their Smart City strategic plans. Installed along North Hill Street are Glenview 1940LED luminaires with IntelliStreets® Smart City solutions on Williamsburg 7800 poles and GRA6 arms. The IntelliStreets® Post Top Modules feature integrated color changing (RGBA) notification beacons for visual cues and an omni-directional speaker that can stream music or real-time announcements, as well as a Wi-Fi gateways, weather stations and managed GFI receptacles.
